Safe Mode in windows becomes very important when you cannot boot windows normally due to some faulty software or device driver. Safe mode allows you to boot windows with minimal software programs and drivers that are essential to start the windows. It blocks all other third party software and programs at the startup. In previous version of windows like windows XP and 7, one can enter into the safe mode by continuously pressing F8(or shift F8).
